The slide lock is small but textured with a ‘step’ that allows your thumb to reach it with ease. The gun’s magazine release is triangular and is a low profile design. Jun 24, 2023 · This was to perform a test for hammer follow (pin GS with rubber band, hold down at 45 degrees, maintain loose grip, press slide release). And it was only on my gun, that I own. I would not do it, at all, on anyone else's. The single time I've done it on my P365's was in this thread, to help the OP. That is it. When your P365 is new make sure that after the Slide Locks back you do not try and release the slide Lock lever (with your thumb) with a empty magazine still in the 365. The magazines are so tight that not only would you be pushing down the Slide Lock Lever but also the Tight Mags Follower.

Here's my P365 FCU only thing sticking out is slide lock and take down lever. FCU has to go back into WC grip with takedown vertical and so trigger first and back end with pin to lock it in. The only trick is to get the leg of the small spring back on the small ledge on the back of the slide lock lever.
