If you can instamine hard stone I'd say get a jungle pickaxe and sludge mine as you'll uncover redstone veins as you go along. If you can't instamine hardstone I think just walking in the tunnels and mining exposed veins will still be better than just sitting in the Dwarven Mines mining the same ore cart for hours. 22.
