We are both pretty new to relationships and completely new to LDR. Thus far, things have been good. Recently we decided to make most Friday evenings a date night, and so we started compiling a list of activities. Some we came up with on our own, many were from other sources online.

In TX, you can drive four hours and still be in the southern third of the state. I wouldn’t say it’s a long distance by itself, but I would say it’s an LDR. LDRs are generally when you have to make an effort to see the other person, whether that’s driving or flying or going international. Four hours is four hours. Just what we’re doing, casual stuff. Also movies shows, some issues going on around the world, our families and friends, mostly we vent to each other lol. Communication is important and since u can’t get physically intimate we try to get emotionally and mentally intimate.
You can't define long distance for someone else. Just because they see their SO every weekend and you don't doesn't mean they're not long distance. ️. my path is usually flying from leeds-bradford, landing in amsterdam, then atlanta, and then florida. it only totals like 14hrs of flight time but the lines for security take at least 2hrs to ...The entire situation is inherently painful. The person you love seems close because you can constantly communicate but you can't physically touch them. It takes a ton of effort to make it work.
