You attach while inside the semi truck, you can't connect regular trailers to semi trucks tho. I have a love hate relationship with that mod, it's fun but the trucks and trailers physics …Grab a destroyable car, that one you hate, then another car you hate too, put one car in the back, then other in the opposite and attach to it, car and trailer will go crazy but this may work, if not use the other car to crash from sides a little bit, the trailer will need fix anyways that is the sad part, but with patience and luck you may turn it, it worked for me.
