Jul 7, 2021 · Vehicle is a 2015 Chevy Malibu with 140,000 miles. Check engine light came up around June 23rd, then turned off around June 25th. Scheduled oil change for the 29th and asked my tech if he could check the engine light. They changed the oil and said my oil was "sludgy" and they thought that could've been the reason for my check engine light.
