Mar 4, 2010 · its a pretty straight forward gasket replacement. Drain the coolant. Remove the fuel Rails. remove the Supercharger ( leave the TB on) remove the Lower intake. wipe up any coolant in the block. flush some oil down the valley of the motor. and then reinstall. I did my own LIM gaskets on my 3400, and with all the new coolant and oil, it ran me about $200 and 10 hours or so, but that was in a freezing garage in January or February of last year. The 3800 is a little easier to do the LIM gaskets than the 3400, as well.2004 Buick Lesabre 3800 SII L36 engine. Therefore, no 3800 ever cane with them originally.
