Thinkpads don't have novo buttons. No. They do. My thinkpad t14 Gen 1 has a Option to disabel Battery in Power /Bios. Funny thing is , this dam thing suddenly only boots with the pattery cabel unpluged , wont charge anything but runs on AC. Anyway , i didnt found the hole for reset on my one .If an X280 will not even acknowledge AC power when connected (red dot over I in Thinkpad" blinks three times), disconnect from AC and take a paperclip and press into the pinhole at the back right of the bottom and hold for a few seconds. That accesses the "reset" button.
