The really big ones were nearly an inch in diameter, with a small rounded five point star shaped central canal. Countless smaller stems are seen as well, forming much of the grey colored Crinoids were actually astonishingly beautiful back in the day. It’s difficult to determine colors, but there’s strong evidence that they were brightly colored, in fact some people called crinoids sea roses because of this.
