Dynamat dampens panel vibration by bonding a layer of butyl rubber to the panel that is vibrating. You only need ~50% coverage to dampen most panel vibration. 2. The foil backed butyl products (Dynamat Extreme, etc) use a foil and thicker butyl rubber to reduce temperatures that pass through the panel.I would NOT call the GX460 a good tow vehicle, a real shame because Toyota/Lexus could have put more thought into the transmission programming and perhaps a Tow/Haul button to give the vehicle some decent manners when towing. A tow/haul button is pretty customary on most vehicles with a decent rating like the 460's V8 and 6500lbs.
