How to return library books
You can return library books to the library. Textbooks must be returned to the bookstore, not to the library. You should have an email from the bookstore telling you how to bring them back to the book store, or mail them back, using a mailing label in your email.You can return library materials to any University Libraries branch or to one of the three campus book bins, which can be found at the following locations: just outside the 2nd floor library entrance on Alumni Mall, on the Library side of Alumni Mall by Torgersen Bridge, and; by the visitor's map on West Campus Drive near the Inn at Virginia Tech.The Library offers universal returns - most circulating material (such as books and DVDs) can be returned to any open New York Public Library location in the Bronx, Manhattan or Staten Island, except the Schomburg Center and The Stephen A. Schwarzman Building. Likewise, pickup of holds may take place at any Library location with the exception of Schomburg and the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building.
