For slayers aim for 7/7/6/5 slayers and for HOTM just grind your daily comms up to HOTM 7 with a pickonimbus. Well, first of all, pickonimbus has 1500 mining speed, so you shouldn't need any bonus mining speed to instamine hardstone. Now, pickonimbus isn't a good pickaxe for hardstone, because it breaks after 5000 uses and you should save these 5000 uses for gemstones.Just use a pickonimbus, 1500 mining speed and costs 300k, has limited durability though. 25.
