Mar 29, 2014 · Midwife had me do my HCG beta at 7 weeks because I have been spotting with cramps. At 7 weeks, it was 138,000.Hadn't done a beta before that so I'm not sure if it was higher than normal early? She seems to think that's pretty high. U/s on Monday and I'm wondering if maybe there are two? My mom is a natural... At 13dpo my hcg was 57 and 3 days later was 399 so not a massive rise-definitely didn't suspect twins from it. My Pregesterone numbers were 52.5 at cd22 and remained in high 60s in first weeks of pregnancy. It wasn't until the 7 week ultrasound that we were told-and we were both shocked so you just never know.I had my hCG levels tested last Weds and Fri, exactly 48 hours apart. On Weds (at 4w1d), it was 84. On Fri (4w3d), it was 266. That's MORE than trippling. The nurse who called me with the results didn't give any indication to be concerned- she said the pregnancy is progressing very well.
