Starts intermittently and when it won't start, only shows the airbag symbol with no power to dash, radio, lights, etc. It was corrosion on the negative cable of the battery. Brushed the cable end bright and shiny and now no problems. It MAY be the fuel pump control module. Mine did this about a year ago. Drove to work and when I went to go to lunch, crank, no start. Bought a new module, AA8Z-9D370-B, approx. $45, plugged it in and no problems since. It is located behind the passenger rear seat, under the liner, mounted on wheel well. Took about 10 mins.

Try depressing the gas pedal to the floor before you start cranking and see if it starts sooner. Doing that will cut the injectors off. My 2007 Ford Taurus is having a no crank no start condition, only a click from the dash and starter relay. I did do some maintenance by cleaning my MAF sensor and my throttlebody (with the correct CRC cleaners).
