I know from running ESO on Linux under proton the lanch flags in the above link should sort this issue, specifically in this case PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1. What I've done to this point: Installed ESO (tried all the below steps with ESO installed directly on Deck memory as well as trying with it installed on the SD card).Get the installer .exe onto the steam deck Get Steam to start the .exe in a proton environment Install GOG Galaxy Retarget Steam to launch GOG Galaxy instead of the installer The setup will be done in desktop mode but it will be usable from both the normal and the desktop mode afterwards. STEP #1: Get the installer .exe onto the SteamDeckI waited about 2 minutes to be able to hit the Play button on the load screen for ESO, then was able to play like normal. ESO is designed to be very compatible with controllers so you could play it on the deck without a lot of settings tweaked.
