The flamer mod itself doesn't trigger fire damage, it's the capacitor mod that triggers the fire damage. It only works with the flamer if you add a mod that adds fire damage. The Flamer mod itself only deals ballistic and energy damage. You need a Beta Wave capacitor mod to add fire damage. The wiki is wrong on this.I bought one for 25k caps recently on this subreddit.
