FCR. If the Lectron was good you'd see reviews of them all over. You aren't going to make any more power with either over a properly jetted stock carb. The FCR will give you that extra snap vs stock due to it's pumper circuit which the Lectron does not have. 3.KLX 400 Kits. These are made to replace the DRZ 400 style CV carburetor. If your model has an FCR 39 from the factory, you will need a DRZ 400 S air box adapter and intake manifold. These parts are cheap and readily available from Suzuki and many online retailers. Gunner354. Posted October 29, 2011. Haven't found a FCR 41mm reasonable yet. The Lectron 44mm Power Jet High Velocity carb with Billet Bowl and Power Ring is $445 . The Big Air Carb's are way out of my price range. $1,200.00 plus. I believe the $1200 carb you saw is for a Harley. Dirtbike are more in the $600 range.Went from a stock carb on my Drz400 to a lectron thanks to some paid advertising YouTube influencer.. the carb worked but after riding my friends with a fcr39mm I couldn't deal with bottom end power loss from the lectron carb. Wish I didn't cut my tps wire so I could use the 2nd map plug in but still way better! Might buy a wiring harness ...You could get a used motor or probably a different DRZ for what I paid. ... I'm having a huge problem with my drz 400 and can't figure it out. I purchased a 2001 drz a few years ago, it sat for a long time but I went through it and it was running great. Went through the carb rejected for my application: MRD exhaust, 3x3 mod, and took off smog canister. The bike runs grea...His results show that at full throttle, there is very little difference in HP between the 36 mm Lectron and the 38 mm Lectron indicating that the limiting factor is getting air into the box and past the filter. Once the power jet is dialed in for the day, the 36mm provides plenty of top end.
