No start/no crank. Recently purchased a heavily used (260,000mi) and abused 2006 R/T for a SONG. P.O stopped driving because it was stuck in park, sure enough the infamous "pink thingy" was broken. In a desperate measure to destroy, the P.O dismantled the shifter, and i mean dismantled, and attempted to bypass said "pink thingy".Dont jump to the crank sensor to quick. depends on wether it backfired out the intake or exhaust. 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Driftwood 4x4 SLT Ext. Superchips 3715 programmer.P00562 battery voltage low (probably when it stalled), P0365 cam sensor B, P0340 cam sensor A. I doubt both cam sensors went bad at the same time. Rather not replace them without knowing they are bad. Fuel pressure test shows about 60 psi but the gauge is fluttering rapidly between 58.5-61.5 psi at idle. Engine off and it slowly drops pressure.
