Pyro/Melee Build Advice. Hello everybody, i'm planning to make a new build. This one is kinda a spellsword...except that he uses no spells, but pyromancies. The whole build should be centered about the theme of fire..so, fire weapons, burnt/charred looking armor and of course, lots and lots of pyromancies. to be honest, i stopped playing DS2 a ...It's not like Dark Souls 1, where literally anyone could do pyro because it costs no points except for attunement. Keep in mind, pyro is designed in such a way as to be able to stand alone, and if you try and invest too much in both, you won't be effective in either. As the saying goes, chase two rabbits, both will get away.

Best spells are Great Combustion and Black Flame, and Fire Tempest. Get your dex up to 45, that will increase your casting speed and give the scythe tons of damage. I recommend the wood grain ring for mobility and the bellowing dragoncrest ring for extra pyro damage.
You can infuse that with fire first, and when you levelled up your int and faith, switch to dark or deep. Try to get the parting flame pyromancy glove as soon as you can get into the snow city.
