P1682 means that the ECM has detected a voltage difference between its 2 electrical feeds. One is hot at all times, the other is the Start. Since it's electrical, start with the battery and the cables. I haven't gotten it yet, but plan to this summer. On their website they have a start/stop override only or the full tune which includes the start/stop override.

Start/Stop cars have Intelligent Battery Monitors that will disable Start/Stop if it thinks a battery is questionable or if codes are set. Most parts stores offer free impedance battery testing that give a good picture of its health.May 5, 2021 · failures to occur.
