0411 Swap programming help. Hi, my name is Thomas. I'm new to HP Tuners and I have been working on the 0411 swap in my 98 2500 7.4L for about 4 months now off and on. I have checked and rechecked my wiring until I'm blue in the face. I've come to the conclusion that I'm doing something wrong in the programming.Hey all, I'm looking into doing the 0411 swap. I have a 99 tahoe 4X4 and have been reading for sometime that the swap is well worth the price and well worth the benefits. My big question is; everyone says the have been getting their info/pcm for doing the swap from "Lextech." The 411 is a way faster pcm, its been used in many gm cars and trucks. Hp tuners even has an autotune option to fine tune ve's on the go. So if you are familiarized with hp tuners it will be a sweet upgrade.

I personally run a 0411 pcm in my 97 Silverado. I run the 0411 in a 96 GMC K1500 as well. The 0411 is an easy swap, takes about 2-3 hours to pull the wires form their old connectors and snap them into the new connectors/positions,....using a pin-out sheet. And, using the 0411, you'll be able to follow/implement "typical tuning" philosophies ...4,936. I'd say with anything more than an intake and exhaust, a 0411 upgrade would be worth it. You wont "gain" any power from the PCM swap, but you will gain the ability to refine it a bit better.
